Post-Exam Days!
After
3 torturing weeks.. exams are finally
OVER!
People can't possibly imagine how relief I felt man..
This semester gave me twice as much stress as the first semester's exam.
Why you ask?
Because of Accounting and Economics lar!
Double threat from the art stream man..
Because of these 2 subjects I actually felt a tinge of regret not taking them in Taylor's.
Oh well.. least the nightmare is over now. And overall I would say my papers turned out pretty well. Hopefully all of em pass lar (I'm talking bout u Accounting!).
So now... ahhh.. the holidays....
I've already had a gist of what I be doing haha.
1. Violin lesson
2. Guitar lesson
3. Gaming like nobody's business (maybe.. ps2 games are rather limited these days)
4. Japanese class (this is also just a maybe.. depends on my mood)
5. Blog? (Ain't this what I'm doing now haha)
6. Hang out with the buddies
7. Movies time man! (Catch up on all the movies I missed and SO LOOKING FORWARD TO 2012 and .... New Moon)
8. Drum lessons (but first I have 2 own a friggin drum first =.=)
9. Omgosh I'm out of stuffs to do!!!!!!! Erm... work? (ya rite lol)
10. I still wanna cut my hair short =.= (someone recommend me a nice hairstylist =( please)
11. Erm.. a holiday trip to somewhere? (Maybe .. depends on dad la)
Actually I was thinking of working in a pet store... that way I can see all the cute lil puppies everyday (the joy!!).
And yes.. I'm a freakishly weird dog lover.
I sometimes feel I'm weird for going SO goo-goo-ga-ga over puppies =.= (they're so CUTE)
That's the gist of them I guess... but for no.5 don't count on it lol.
See even when something interesting is happening, I did still most probably be too LAZY to blog about it haha.

Bought by the Monash gang!
So I've had my birthday and it was more awesome then I had expected it to be.
Most probably because of the surprise I got from my friends =p
Truth be told I'm not very gud in handling surprises hahah. But what they did was rly sweet and thoughtful =) Thanks guys!
I actually had two birthday cakes tis year lol.. but the one ma buddies got from RT Pastry was the best la obviously lol. And cz im lazy I'm jz gonna post the RT one up lol.

Jaime got tis for me! And yes.. I actually thought of getting back a handphone accessory with the cross like this one here as well...( after I lost the previous one I bought in Korea lol). But all thinking and no action obviously.
But then again God provides xD.
It's hanging on my phone now looking pretty ^^

Run For The Nation 2009
I. Am. SO.
Tired!
I didn't enjoy the run so much (obviously) since I couldn't take it like half/3 quarter of the journey as I felt like I was going to faint.
But.. thank God I didn't faint la haha =DD
I guess I underestimated this 5km race -_- (No prior training before event!)
I guess I really did look like I was going to faint at the overhead bridge there? Cause..
There was this car with a Malay couple inside, the Malay women actually offered to give me a ride. But we of course didn't get in lar... Gloria politely said it was ok la..(while I was still squating there feeling like my lungs was completely depleted of air). But she was so concerned that she kept saying "Are you sure? You sure?" She only left after I stood up and told her it's okay.
Now that was a really nice lady =)
Even though the running process wasn't considered fun (to me la at least haha)... but the praying part was Awesome =D. It feels great ya know? to be able to pray for the nation like that.
During the run, we had prayed for the government, the community, the children, businessmen, Christian fellowship, the non-believers, teachers and parents.
And even when I felt totally exhausted like 3 quarter of the way.. I felt happy when it was my turn to pray!
p.s. But pity Gloria and Wui Jia have to wait for me >_<

Happy? Mooncake Festival
Once upon a time, in a magical kingdom far far away, like really far away, there were magical lanterns that can be lighted up and have pretty colours,
I'll cut the crap! Here are the pictures.

First there were Three. (Three musketeers anyone?)
.

And then...
There were Seven! (Ma favourite number!) =O hahah
I wanna show off my genius cousin's
invention here LoL. He created this using
3 satay sticks -_-...okay it doesn't sound that glamorous when you put it that way.
But how also it's creative kay! And even when you hold the stick upright, the lantern will NOT fall off!
Now that's innovation
What dad bought for gramp. I know you're prolly wondering why there's like specks of dust on top. That's actually ashes from the joss stick candles *roll eyes* on the table.
Mine xD
You prolly thought we had a lot of fun with the lanterns
But after 30 minutes...
LOL all hang on the fence ady.
And the attention was turned to.....................=.=

FIRE!
We too free ady la haha. Lets just hope the girl who walked past didn't call the cops LOL.
I actually did fear for her when she walk past. I was so scared she did get burnt by my 10 year old cousin who happens to be swinging his hand in circles holding a burning newspaper. (kinda long huh the sentence. You can breathe now =p.)
But how also I'm innocent! I'm jz holding an n95...... not newspapers on fire >_<
She was taking the family photo at the time. Say........where is that picture huh?

Las Caretas
I know I know.. it was more then 15 days since I last blogged -.-
Time flies ya know? Haha. Anywaysss I went to this mexican restaurant about a week ago
It was pretty interesting
The new bartender tending this bar here graduated from
Taylor's School of Culinary Arts =O *Info thanks to nosy dad* =p .
He seems to make friends everywhere he go ish.
Anyways, I suspect the bartender heard me telling the boss that their 'Long Island Ice Tea' wasn't strong enuf (from past experiences with it)
Coz then when I decided to give it another try..
It turned out much stronger then before. heheh I like it!
What I had. Guess what! It was the first time I actually
finished a dish from the restaurant
on my own!

okla so one of the lamb pieces I forced gave my parents to try em out.
What mum had. Not taking dad's coz his dish wasn't pretty or unique enough hahaha. Its jz
Steak. Tis is salmon btw. Mum said it was
better then TGIF's one in Parade =x.
So after we finished our meals and everything..including dessert.. the group of '
ang mohs' sitting at the table behind us offered us this piece of cake from none other than
Secret Recipe! Woohoo!!
FREE CAKE!
Nah I wasn't this excited about it at the time since I was so darn full. I think mum ate em all
Nyways Dad thank em and started chatting wit em. Not surprising lol
But then the most interesting thing of the night was *drum roll*........ I got a FREE TEQUILA SHOT PURE!
*it looks so much clearer on the phone..weird
Ok la so it wasn't that big a deal.. but it was my first time with tequila shots.
After dad paid the bill, it went something like this
Bartender: Have you tried tequila shot before?
Me: Nope
Bartender: Do you wanna try?
Me: How?? paid the bill d
Bartender: Can..
And in came a small tray with orange and lime slices and a glass shot and salt.
He was cool enough to teach me to drink it the right way la.. add salt on hand, lick then gulp shot down follow by the slices. (If I get addicted to shots I'm gonna hunt down the bartender and kill him)
He was really quick to clear the tray after I'm done lo..scared kena tangkap by the boss, according to dad.
Also he said the bartender told him that the Long Island was supposed to be that strong (if based on original recipe), but nowadays ppl tend to make em lighter so that we'll order more =.=. If that's the case then I hope the bartender'll stick around so that I can get the REAL one haha.
